  1. What are the benefits of downloading POPULAR SG App?

  2. Where can I download POPULAR SG App?
    Search for "Popular SG" on the App Store / Google Play Store

  3. I cannot find the LOGIN / REGISTER button on the home page
    The font size which you have set for your handphone may be bigger than usual. Change the font size to normal and try again.

  4. I cannot register for a POPULAR SG App account.
    We are unable to accept special characters in your email address as your username.

  5. I am a POPULAR member, but I cannot log in to POPULAR SG App.
    Account registration for POPULAR SG App is required for all members and non-members, login is only available after registration is complete.

  6. I have a POPULAR Online account, why can't I log in with the same account details on POPULAR SG App?
    POPULAR online and POPULAR SG App are different platforms. You will have to register for an account on the App to log in.

  7. I cannot register another account for my child using my email address, why is this so?
    Your email address acts as your username, therefore the same email address/username cannot be used to register for another account. Register for a second account with another email address/username for your child.

  8. (a) I have keyed in an invalid/wrong email address during registration.
    (b) I did not receive any activation code sent to my email.
    (c) I accidentally exited the account activation page.

POPULAR e-Card

  1. What is the benefit of linking my POPULAR e-Card?
    a. You can enjoy privileges on the go without having to carry your physical card in your wallet all the time.
    b. Acts as a physical card to enjoy member privileges at all POPULAR and UrbanWrite stores as well as POPULAR Connections partners.
    c. Receive coupons/vouchers in your e-Wallet during app exclusive promotions.

  2. How can I link my POPULAR e-Card?
    You can link your POPULAR e-Card while registering for a POPULAR SG App account or link it via your Account page after registration and login. You will be required to provide your date of birth and your POPULAR Card number for membership verification.


  3. What is Member D.O.B.?
    Member D.O.B. is the date of birth of the member.

  4. I cannot link my e-Card. Message is "Member Card Number or DOB not correct".

  5. Can I link my POPULAR Malaysia Card to POPULAR SG App?
    No, you will not be able to link your POPULAR Malaysia Card to our POPULAR SG App as we are 2 separate mobile apps. You can link your POPULAR Malaysia e-Card on POPULAR MY App.

  6. Can I download my POPULAR e-Card on other platforms?
    No, we only accept POPULAR e-Card on POPULAR SG app.

  7. Where can I find the expiry date of my POPULAR e-Card?
    The expiry date of your POPULAR e-Card can be found on your Account page, displayed under your POPULAR e-Card image.





Sign-Up/Renew Membership

  1. Can I renew my membership on POPULAR SG App?
    a. If your POPULAR card is still valid, you will be able to renew on the App. Just tap on Account, then tap on Renew Membership.
    b. If your POPULAR card has expired for more than 2 months, you will not be able to renew your membership. You will need to sign up for a new membership.

  2. Can I sign up for a new membership on POPULAR SG App?
    Yes, you can. Simply register for a POPULAR SG App account using your email address, tap on Account and click on Purchase Membership.

  3. How do I make payment on POPULAR SG App?
    You can make payment with your credit or debit card – Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

  4. I signed-up/renewed a 1-Year/3-Year membership on POPULAR SG App, why does my e-Card reflect a shorter expiry date?
    This is a temporary card which you can use to enjoy member privileges while we process your application. It will be updated to the actual membership card number and expiry date in 2 weeks' time.

  5. Do I still receive a physical card if I sign up/renew via POPULAR SG App?
    Yes, a physical card will be mailed to you within 4 to 6 weeks if you apply for the membership before 31 December 2019.
    From 1 January 2020 onwards, members who sign up or renew their membership will not receive a physical card. You can link your e-Card to enjoy privileges on the go.
