At www.popular.com.sg, we use Session variables to store information needed for a particular user session. The session variables facilitate a user to move between the pages in the POPULAR web portal without the need to re-enter the information again for the entire user session experience.

The Web server automatically creates a Session object (variables) when a user who does not already have a session requests a Web Page from the application. The server destroys the Session Object when the session expired or is abandoned.
